Nepal Motorbike Tour - 10 days

Our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Meet your adventure team at the pre-trip meeting held later in the day. A briefing by your team leader on your motorcycle tour will follow. Later, head to the lively tourist hub of Thamel. We recommend you schedule your arrival in Kathmandu in the morning or during the day to enable you to attend the group briefing. After the meeting, you can take a stroll around Thamel.

Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today you will test ride to Nagarkot to ensure you are ready for a motorcycle tour. You will test a bike on a variety of roads through the beautiful road to Nagarkot, Changu Narayan, and Bhaktapur. The route will be pre-planned to let you ride for a good few hours. This will help you make sure that the bike is comfortable and you are ready for the days ahead.

Overnight in Kathmandu.

Get ready to enjoy pleasant ride on the Kathmandu-Pokhara highway, one of the busiest highways in Nepal. It takes you around 6-7 hours to reach Gorkha from Kathmandu. Beginning from Thamel, the road leads to Kalanki and Thankot Check Post. Leaving Thankot, you will ride along the highway to Dhading and continue through Aarughat Marg. The destination of the day is Gorkha.

Overnight in Gorkha

Enjoy delicious morning breakfast in Gorkha, and gear up for a short ride to Bandipur and then Pokhara. You will visit Gorkha Bazaar and explore Gorkha Museum. We will drive back to Bandipur, have a delicious lunch and ride to Pokhara. It will not take more than 5 hours to reach Pokhara. It is approximately 80km from Bandipur to Pokhara. Ride along the Marshangdi River and enjoy the scenery, like rice patios roaring past the beautiful villages. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will rest at the hotel in Pokhara.

Overnight in Pokhara.

Today you will be visiting Pokhara's various attractions. Take a boat ride across Phewa Lake and visit the shrine of goddess Barahi. Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Pumdikot and International Mountain Museum are among the major highlights for today. Take a 20 minutes’ drive from Baidam to Begnas Lake, where you can take a boat ride. It is similar to Phewa Lake, with greenery surrounding the lake. Make sure to try the local Thakali meal set to excite your taste buds.

Overnight in Pokhara

The destination of the day is Lumbini, one of the holiest places in Nepal and a UNESCO World Heritage site in Nepal. Ride on for 120km, around 3 to 4 hours, and you will reach Tansen. The winding roadways will be an amazing experience for you. Advance toward Butwal, and ride for around 80km to reach Lumbini. In your leisure, you can visit Mayadevi Temple and the Ashoka Temple.

Overnight in Lumbini

Visit Lumbini garden, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It's a place of tranquility. Later on, drive to Chitwan, covering at least 175km. Enjoy your ride on the roads flat roads flanked by dried brownfields. It shouldn't take you more than 5 hours to reach Chitwan. You can freshen up and stroll around Chitwan to admire Chitwan's greenery.

Overnight in Chitwan

Wake up early and prepare for an adventurous jungle safari in Chitwan National Park. The jungle safari can be via jeep and back. For a richer experience, a Jeep safari is recommended. Today is your chance to encounter the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, the Royal Bengal Tiger, and a host of endangered flora and fauna. You also visit the Elephant Breeding Centre, where you will meet mother elephants with their calves. In the evening you can enjoy a Tharu cultural program.

Overnight in Chitwan.

On the 9th day, you will ride back to Kathmandu. You will ride through Daman, covering a total distance of 180km. The highway to Kathmandu via Daman boasts good road condition. Upon reaching Kathmandu, head to your hotel, relax and rest. If you have enough time, you can stroll along the street of Thamel area and buy souvenir for your friends and family.

Lastly, it is time to depart from Nepal. We will drive you to the airport well on time to catch your homeward-bound flight.  If you wish to continue the tour to other cities, let your guide know about the same, so that we can organize it for you.
