Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has revised procedures of the Trekking Information Management System (TIMS). With the new provision, all trekkers are required to obtain services of licensed trekking guide and to obtain TIMS Card through authorized trekking agencies registered with the Government of Nepal. The new provision shall come into effect post March 31, 2023.

As per the decision of the Government  of Nepal (Council of Ministers) dated Chaitra 16, 2078, it has been published for the prevention of infection of covid-19 new variant as well as for the information of all concerned as the following arrangements have been made regarding the passengers entering Nepal by air route or land route.
