Flying to Kathmandu during the day can be an awesome experience. Surrounded by a chain of green mountains, Kathmandu city looks beautiful from the sky. At the airport our guide from Third Rock Adventures will be waiting for you. After greeting you he will escort you to your hotel and help you check-in. Freshen up and have some refreshment.
Later in the day, you will get to enjoy a guided tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
After an early breakfast, you will be driven to the domestic airport where you catch a flight to Pokhara. It is a short flight of thirty minutes filled with breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains. A short drive from the airport, will bring you to your hotel. Check-in and freshen up.
After a brief rest, you head to Naudanda with your guide. Naudanda which means 'nine hills' is a popular hiking destination that lies close to Pokhara. From your hotel, you board a vehicle and drive to Naudanda, the trailhead of your hike. You walk past terraced fields, traditional villages, and breathtaking viewpoints. The trail is easy and doable by kids. Enjoy stunning views of some of the highest mountains in the world - Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, etc.
Your hike ends at Sarangkot, another spectacular Himalayan viewpoint. Enjoy a memorable sunset from Sarangkot before returning to your hotel in a private vehicle.
Overnight in Pokhara.
Wake up before dawn and head to Peace Stupa to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise. As the stupa is located on a ridge above Pokhara city, you can savor marvelous views of the Phewa Lake, Pokhara Valley, and the Himalayan mountains.
Later return to the hotel for breakfast and afterward head to the paragliding point to enjoy a tandem flight. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience as the 45-60 minutes flight lets you enjoy the natural beauty of Pokhara from high above the sky.
Your sightseeing tour commences once you land at the paragliding landing site. Your guide will drive you to the most popular sightseeing spots in Pokhara – Davis Falls, Gupteshwar Cave, International Mountain Museum, and Tibetan Refugee Camp.

Before leaving Pokhara you enjoy a boat ride in Phewa Lake. The Peace Stupa and Fishtail Peak (Machhapucchre) look enticing from the lake. Later you head to the airport and fly to Kathmandu. Our vehicle will be waiting for you at the airport to drive you to Dhulikhel, a popular weekend getaway on the outskirts of Kathmandu.
Surrounded by traditional Newari villages and verdant hills, the restful ambiance of Dhulikhel is soothing for the body and soul. Enjoy a tranquil evening looking at the distant mountains.
Overnight in Dhulikhel.
Do wake up before dawn to catch the sunrise as Dhulikhel is famous for its beautiful sunrises and sunsets. If yours is a winter trip and the weather is clear, you will be treated to a golden sunrise over the snow-covered mountains.
Take a scenic drive from Dhulikhel and head to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Walk through ancient temples and palaces dating back to the medieval period. Afterward, head to another ancient city Patan and discover Nepal's ancient art and architecture at the Patan Durbar Square.
Later you will be transferred to the international airport well on time (3 hours before your scheduled departure) to catch your return flight.
