Once you land at Kathmandu International Airport representative from Third Rock Adventures will receive it. After completing airport formalities, you'll drive to the respective hotel.
Next, you'll get refreshed and attend orientation meetings regarding the trip. Your guide will brief you about the entire itinerary. Next, you can head out and explore nearby streets full of small shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars.

After breakfast, you'll start your full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. Start your day by exploring the Hindu sacred Pashupatinath Temple dedicated to lord Shiva. Sitting at the bank of the Bagmati river, you could watch the cremation ceremony around the temple premises.
Next, you'll visit the world's two biggest stupas; Boudhanath and Swayambhunath stupa (Monkey Temple). Boudhanath has a massive mandala. You can wander around the mandala, observe the devotees, do some souvenir shopping, or hang out at one nearby rooftop restaurant.
Likewise, Swayambhunath temple sits atop in hill on the west side of Kathmandu valley. It is one of Nepal's oldest and most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites. The ambiance is very peaceful, with trance-inducing music and the fragrance of a butter lamp; you'll get the spiritual vibe.
Finally, you'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a living museum of great ancient Nepalese art and architecture. Ancient temples, statues, fountains, and courtyards exquisitely surround the durbar square area.
After exploring all these famous UNESCO world heritage sites of Kathmandu, you'll get back to the hotel. You can explore the Thamel area or relax in your hotel.

After breakfast, you will head to beautiful Patan city. In the Patan Durbar Square area, you can visit several ancient temples, such as Krishna Mandir dedicated to Lord Krishna, Golden Temple, Bhimsen Temple, etc., that hold historical and religious values. Also, these attractive temples depict the fantastic skills of ancient Newari craftsmen.
Today's next destination will be the Newari town of Bhaktapur. Some notable monuments in the durbar square area are the 55-window palace, Taleju Bhawani Temple, Golden Gate, Bhairavnath Temple, etc. Along this, there are four unique squares; Durbar, Taumadhi, Dattatreya, and Pottery Square, which are equally worth visiting.
After exploring these two historical cities, you'll drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. You can rest and prepare for the next day trip to Lumbini.

Early morning you'll take a flight to Lumbini in the southwestern terai region. Once you arrive at Bhairawa airport, you'll transfer to the hotel. After settling your luggage, you'll begin the Lumbini sightseeing tour.
Start your excursion by visiting several monasteries built by different Buddhist countries like China, Japan, Myanmar, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, etc. The best part is that each monastery showcases its country's architectural and religious styles. There are some Buddhist meditation centers where you can try meditation and yoga therapy.
Moreover, if time permits, you can enjoy boating in the central canal. While boating, you can enjoy the great view of the Mayadevi complex on both sides.

After morning breakfast, you'll explore the Sacred Garden area. You can visit Lumbini Museum, Maya Devi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Maya Devi Pond, and Ashok Pillar here. All these notable landmarks hold historical, religious, and spiritual significance and are related to Lord Buddha's birth.
Later you'll drive to Bhairawa airport and depart for Kathmandu. Once you land in Kathmandu, you'll go to the hotel. If you have time, you can explore Thamel for some souvenir shopping.
Note: If you explore these places on arrival day in Lumbini, then on the second day, you'll visit the monastic zone or vice versa.
