Well, every helicopter has a maximum certified takeoff weight set by the helicopter manufacturer. So, helicopter allows carrying a total of 350 - 500 kg weight depending on altitude and location. Our fleet of helicopters accommodates five passengers plus the pilot. Ensuring the proper seat arrangement, we balance the weight of the passengers too.

How to book Kala Patthar to Lukla Helicopter?

On a daily basis, we arrange both private and group helicopter services from Kala Patthar to Lukla. To book your Helicopter with us, you must provide detailed information, including the date, time, and number of travelers you intend to travel during your trip. If you are a solo traveler but willing to join the group, then in that case also, we can set up a group taking a helicopter flight. However, the process of arranging groups might take time, so in case of emergency, chartering a private helicopter flight would be the better option.

Payment Policy

In addition, to proceed further, you have to make a 10% advance payment which is the refundable total cost of the helicopter service. So, after you send us the booking amount and other details, we will start the booking process and confirm it.

Similarly, you can pay the rest of the helicopter service cost upon arrival in Kathmandu. Also, you can pay all amounts in advance for your convenience. All payment needs to be clear before the trip's departure to our head office in Kathmandu.

While booking, you can pay the amount through Credit Card (Master Card, Visa Card, and any other) or wire/bank transfer. Further, you can also deposit through our website's secure payment gateway to ease the booking process. Besides, if you are already in Kathmandu, you can use cash or a cheque for the payment.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Here are some cancellation policies you must be aware of before booking with us: 

• If you cancel 24 hours or more time before your scheduled departure, you’ll get full refund
• If you cancel 24 hours or less time of your scheduled departure, you'll lose your initial deposit amount.
• If you didn't show up on the departure time of your trip, then you'll charge 100% of the booking cost.

Please note there will be no refund if you voluntarily drop the helicopter service for any reason once the trip is started. Similarly, if a flight gets canceled due to bad weather conditions, you will refund the deposit price or reschedule the service as your itinerary.
