This 7-day tour is a perfect amalgamation of wildlife and cultural experience in these famous cities. You'll begin this city tour by exploring some cultural UNESCO heritage sites of Kathmandu valley, like Kathmandu Durbar Square. The following day you'll head towards Chitwan National Park for wildlife activities.
After an exhilarating wildlife experience, a bird-watching trip, and getting a glimpse of Tharu culture, you'll travel to Pokhara. It is a popular tourist destination in Nepal. There are several touristic spots like religious monuments, Phewa Lake, and famous viewpoints of the Himalayas. Another major highlight of this short trip is catching the glorious sunrise and majestic Himalayan views from Sarangkot Hill. After completing the sightseeing tour in Pokhara, you'll drive back to Kathmandu. The following day is the departure day you'll end this tour with the final flight.

Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our representative from Third Rock Adventures will greet you and help you transfer to the hotel. A tour guide will provide information about the plan and programs of the trip.
Later you can head out and explore Thamel's back lanes and alleyways. You can also go to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the three squares within Kathmandu Valley. You can visit the 16th to 18th-century temples of Taleju, Jagannath, Shiva Parvati, Kal Bhairav, Bhagavati Temple, etc. Also, if time allows, you can visit the Swayambhunath Stupa to witness the splendid view of Kathmandu Valley.

After breakfast, you'll leave for Chitwan, home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Chitwan National Park. After a couple of hours' drive, you'll reach Sauraha and get transferred to the hotel.
Later after freshening up, you can explore the Sauraha village. You can experience the traditional Tharu cultural dances (long stick dance) performed by the ethnic Tharu community, showcasing their past life living near the forest.

Today you'll get a whole day to explore Chitwan National Park. The main attractions in Chitwan National Park are the endangered one-horned Rhinoceros and the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.
During your jungle tour, you can see other exotic wild animals and colorful birds. However, the park has much more to offer than these, as it is home to over 700 diverse species of flora and fauna. During the jeep safari, you can see wildlife such as Sloth bears, leopards, deer, monkeys, crocodiles, etc. Next, you can have a bird-watching trip to the bank of the Rapti River and the surrounding area.

Wake up and explore the riverside area. You can even catch the mesmerizing sunrise over the Rapti river. Later having breakfast, you'll start an overland journey to Pokhara, the city of lakes. After settling in the hotel, you'll have some free time to explore the lakeside area by yourself. You can visit Tal Barahi Temple and enjoy boating at Phewa Lake. Later enjoy a cultural dinner in any of the restaurants near the lakeside road.

Early morning you'll drive to Sarangkot Hill to catch the lovely sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayan range, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, etc. On top of that, you will get incredible sights of the entire Pokhara city with the glimmering Phewa Lake from Sarangkot Hill.
After treating yourself to an unforgettable sunrise panorama over the Annapurna Mountain range, you'll return to the lakeside area. After having breakfast, you'll begin a sightseeing tour of this beautiful lake city of Pokhara. You'll have a private tourist vehicle and a professional tour guide. You'll start the Pokhara tour from Davis Falls and nearby falls and visit Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.
Next, you'll explore the International Mountain Museum, where you can learn about stories and photographs of the mountains, their inhabitants, and the famous mountaineers who climbed some of the highest peaks in the world. You'll also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp, where you'll get insight into the history of Tibetan refugees in Nepal. Inside these settlements, you can see a Buddhist monastery, a school, and a carpet factory. You can even buy handicrafts as a souvenir. After exploring all these beautiful places in Pokhara, you can spend your evening chilling in the peaceful environment around the lakeside area.

The journey back to Kathmandu is also very scenic, following the Trishuli River with deep valleys, terraced farmland, and even Himalayan views when the weather is clear. So, once you arrive in Kathmandu, you can freshen up and take a tour around the Thamel area, which is regarded as the center of Kathmandu's nightlife. There is a range of restaurants, cafes, and nightlife where you can enjoy food and drinks with live music.

Bidding a final goodbye, you'll head to the airport three hours before departure. Before heading to the Kathmandu International airport, if you have a few hours, you can do some souvenir shopping in the Thamel. Several souvenir shops sell local products such as tea, knitted wear, carpets, Tibetan rugs, thangka paintings, singing bowls, Khukuri,etc.
