Landing at the Kathmandu International Airport, you'll complete airport formalities. A representative from Third Rock Adventures will receive you and escort you to the respective hotel.
After checking in at the hotel, you can take a short rest. Later, you'll join a quick meet-up regarding the trip briefing session. Your tour guide will shortly brief you about the 6 days of the Kathmandu and Chitwan tour itinerary.
Once the meeting is over, you can stroll around the nearby places. You'll have time to absorb the Nepalese people's language, culture, and lifestyle.

Early morning you'll begin your overland journey from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park. It's a scenic drive along the countryside accompanied by the Trishuli river, forest-covered hills, farming villages, rice fields, etc. Enjoying this short yet scenic journey, you'll reach Chitwan.
After checking in at the hotel, you can get refreshed and take a quick tour around the riverside area of the beautiful Rapti river. Relish the magical sunset in the dense jungles of Chitwan. You can also explore the Tharu communities nearby Chitwan National Park. Indulge yourself in enriching Tharu culture with tasty food and the famous Tharu stick dance.
Today set yourself up for a fantastic canoeing ride which is one of the fun activities to do in the park. You'll take a canoe from the river's edge and get a close look at the Gharial and Mugger crocodiles along with other animals, such as the rhinoceros.
Moreover, this canoeing ride allows you to see various birds, including the giant hornbill and eagles. Next, you'll visit the Elephant breeding center, where you'll get information about nature and elephant habits.
Further, you'll take an Jeep Safari and explore the dense jungle of Sauraha. Seating high on the back of trained Elephants, you'll explore tranquil forests and enjoy watching all birds and wild species very closely.
Overnight stay in Chitwan.
Today you'll have an entire day to explore Chitwan National Park. You got two options Jeep Safari or Jungle Walk at the national park. Both are equally worth it. During safari activities, you'll explore the rich biodiverse of the park on jeep or foot, accompanied by an experienced guide who will explain everything you want to know about the park's history or its flora and fauna.
You'll get to witness rare wildlife species, including one-horned rhinoceros, spotted deer, peacocks, and a wide variety of birds. With a bit of luck, you may even get a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, and Sloth Bear. After completing the safari activities, you'll get back to the hotel. Later you can even visit Tharu village.
Overnight stay in Chitwan.
Early in the morning, you'll go on a nature walk alongside the serene Rapti river. Here you'll get a chance to witness several exotic and migratory birds, including the Giant Hornbill, Little Egret, Lesser Florican, Hoopoe, Darter, Flycatcher, etc. So, this short walk will reward both nature and bird lovers.
Later you'll have breakfast and drive back to Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you can freshen up and explore the nearby streets of Thamel. If you wish you can do some souvenir shopping for your loved ones.
