UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to Embark on Scenic Visit to Annapurna Base Camp

Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, is set to embark on a captivating journey to Nepal, including a visit to the renowned Annapurna Base Camp. His visit is scheduled to commence on October 29th and span four days.
Vasudev Ghimire, the Chief District Officer of Kaski, disclosed that Guterres will include Pokhara in his itinerary while in Nepal, with a notable highlight being his visit to the world-famous Annapurna base camp.
Ghimire further mentioned that arrangements have been made for Guterres to reach the Annapurna base camp from Pokhara Airport via helicopter, and stringent security protocols will be enforced in accordance with standard procedures.
The local tourism community in Pokhara is buzzing with excitement over the upcoming visit by UN Secretary General Guterres to the Annapurna base camp.
