On my birthday I decided to do one lesser-known trek and contacted Naba, and he suggested Dhaulagiri trek with his highly experienced trekking guide, I agreed, and guess what? Had a blast. I never wanted to go for popular commercial treks in NEPAL and this one proved to be the best adventure in my late 30s. I requested a customized itinerary and Naba approved it. It was a challenging trek but I embraced what was coming. Besides my guide was absolutely the finest trek guide. He was friendly and astute. When I was ascending to Italian Base Camp, my leg got hurt, and he had a first aid kid that helped a lot. He insisted we take a break and walk after an hour. I felt so good about that decision. Had we walked, I probably would have injured myself. That day, I enjoyed the beautiful views of some mountains (sorry I could barely remember their name). I crossed some high mountain passes and explored Hidden valleys. Thankful and grateful to Naba and his team for this great adventure.
