We took the 2 days hike on the Gosainkunda Lake Trek with Third Rock Adventures. This turned out to be a perfect choice! Starting with the meet up in Kathmandu, everything was 100% professionally arranged. Timetable, gear, program, everything was delivered with highest perfection!
The tour started with a 6h jeep tour where all road controls and checkpoints where cleared by Third Rock Adventures. Getting hiking up to 4.370m hight in 2 days was an unforgettable experience. The scenery, tea house accommodation and the whole program was excellent. Thanks to this unique tour goes 100% to the tour leader Sanjog Bhatta and Shiva Bhatta. Ask for these guys to lead you up to the hills and mountains! The way they both arrange the daily setup and take care of their guests as where they family members, is unique. They are highly professional, skilled and very friendly and supportive. Anything you need to know about high altitude symptoms, way to hike in steep hills, what to eat, and much more, these guys have an answer. There is even a fresh made espresso during the hike made by Sanjog (if you are into coffee) Sanjog and Shiva clearly live the mountains and are passionate about sharing them with their guests. You are hosted in the most memorable way thinkable. From stasrt to finish. If you ever go out with the Third Rock Adventures on any trip, ask for Sanjog and Shiva. These guys ROCK!
