I got encouraged to climb Island peak after I saw many travelers at Chhukung who were older than me going for the climb. I was planning to take a good rest at Chhukung but instead of it I dared to go for the Island climb. Luckily I met Mr. Lhakpa who is veteran climber of Third Rock Adventures and leading his team to Island peak. Initially I was scared of the height and the strenuous walk but my guide kept on motivating me and finally I did it. Very happy. The crew were very helpful and accommodating, they'll look after your needs without questioning and will give you the right guidance to get you trough the hardest part of trips.
