Kathmandu, August 28
Bhutan's Druk Air will fly directly from Bhutan's Paro International Airport to Pokhara International Airport.
Druk got permission to fly from Paro to Pokhara on (23 August. Gyanendra Bhul, information officer of Nepal Civil Aviation Authority, informed that this chartered flight will take place.
According to him, this ship will take off from Pokhara. Narrow body ships will fly here.
He said that it will take some time to start flights at the new airport and now the flights are starting to arrive gradually. Druk Air coming to Pokhara is a good thing, he said; it will open the way for more ships to come in the future.
He said that based on the report of the chartered flight, Druk also assured regular flights from Bhutan. We believe that there will be regular flights to Pokhara now.
Inaugurated on January 1, 2023, after the English New Year's Day, this airport has only one chartered international commercial flight so far.
Other flights are only domestic. Nepal Airlines has started flying to three destinations from another new airport, Bhairahawa.
