Jayayram has been guiding trekkers through the mountainous trails of the Nepal Himalayas for more than fifteen years. Having grown up in the hills of Gorkha, he deeply understands the mountains and lifestyle of the people living there. He has guided several groups to Everest Base Camp and other destinations in the Everest and Annapurna regions. He is a trained and licensed guide. He has received Trekking Guide training from the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM). He has also completed a course in eco-tourism and wilderness first-aid from KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Educational Project). Knowledgeable, patient, caring and considerate he is particularly adept at guiding elderly groups and families with kids.
A people person, he knows how to deal with first-time as well as seasoned travelers. He is highly organized and has strong problem-solving skills. Mr. Adhakari loves visiting new places and nature walks. Whenever he gets time, he heads to the mountains to unwind.
