Derik made his first journey to Nepal in 2012 and completed the life-changing adventure to Everest Base Camp along with Island Peak. He has traveled widely throughout the world. His travels has taken to Asia (Nepal and Southeast Asia), Africa, Europe and North America. Besides scaling some Himalayan peaks, he has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Kenya, Mt Elbrus in Russia, Mt Rainier plus other peaks in USA.
Derik's background in Sales and construction has led him to this point of helping others experience their own personal journeys to some of the world’s best adventure locations. When not trying to keep up with his two teen daughters, he is looking for his next adventure destination.
